Intro Trivia[]

  • "Eeveelutions" is a fan term for all of Eevee's evoultions: Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and the newly revealed Sylveon.
    • Since Pokémon Stadium 2, Eeveelution has become an officially recognized term.
  • Eevee's name may come from the word "evolution".
  • Eevee's English Beta name was Eon.
  • Eevee is based on a fox, which can be found in various habitats, tying to its diverse evolution tree.
    • Dogs may also play some part in Eevee's design.
    • Tanuki also could be an inspiration.

Class with Kellz![]

  • All of Eevee's Pokédex entries mention its evolution.
  • Some entries mention Eevee's DNA is unstable and it is an endangered specie.
  • A theory states that the three unnamed Pokémon resurrected by Ho-Oh that became Suicune, Entei, and Raikou were Eevee that had their DNA modified by Ho-Oh.**
  • Pokémon Red, Blue, Yellow, FireRed, and LeafGreen Pokédex entries state that Eevee is an endangered specie. A theory claims its popularity among Trainers may have brought Eevee back from the brink of extinction and that is why Eevee can be found in the wilds of Unova.

** This theory has been debunked by the release of Pokémon Generations episode 6: The Reawakening
